Album of the Month for October-Opeth Heritage

Although this album was released in September, September was a great month for metal album releases. This album should be highlighted as one of the great releases. This is a different twist from the band, departing from their death metal style (this time something more along the lines of Jazz and Classic Progressive Rock). Album of the Month

Each month we will feature a new recent rock/metal album release as the background for the blog. For the month of September, Dream Theater's "A Dramatic Turn of Events" was featured (released September 13th). The results were quite favorable leading to number 8 on the Billboard 200 in its first week. Currently Dream Theater is touring North America and playing Pompano Beach Amphitheater October 21st!
